How many times does the Freight train pass through Parkinson? Does it get noisy around Mapelton Cct?

I've been living in Parkinson for 9 years, and Algester for 26 years prior to that. I wouldn't say frequent enough to be annoying. But there is plans to move coal in this alignment in the future, and it appears both sides of government are of the same mind with regard to this corridor and its use (Pr Beattie tried to put a new rail siding here which went down like a lead balloon). There's also talk (for along time) of electrifying the rail so it's only going to get busier. BUT, the trains are easy to get used to, its the engine braking of the trucks that use Paradise road (including the Logan motorway off ramps) which is the most annoying, at night they can get loud and frequent - there's signs on paradise rd telling them not to use compression braking but they are ignored. Also, the Paradise road rat run is apparently getting an upgrade which means it to will be getting noisier over time due to more frequent use.
