If I'm in Pawling and I want mall shopping, would I be better off going to Pk. or Danbury?

I'd agree that there are more shopping options in Poughkeepsie, because the Galleria is on Rt 9, which is lined with all kinds of stores, whereas in Danbury you're restricted to what's inside the mall. But I have to say the women's clothing in the Galleria is much cheesier and worse quality than in Danbury.

Poughkeepsie is, without question, much better for shopping, though that's quite a drive for a mall. Danbury is a bit closer, so I'd suggest heading there.

I like Danbury Fair better than the Galleria, but Poughkeepsie in general is a better shopping town, in my opinion. Danbury is probably a little closer and easier to get to.
