It is fairly common for Pawling residents to commute into NYC, which is amazing to me considering the distance, but then I've driven an hour to and from work before so I guess it's not that bad.

I know many Pawling residents that commute to Manhattan via Metro North each workday. It's just over an hour and a half by train, though a good many of us are road warriors that travel Rts 84 and 684 everday.
