Reviews of Peel Street, Collingwood

"Best inner city suburb ever!"

One of the best side streets off Smith Street, Peel Street is the best place to live if you want to be in and amongst the action. Littered with cafes, pubs and restaurants, you are always spoilt for choice! This includes the iconic Grace Darling Hotel, the famous Lazer Pig, the fancy Congress and the authentic Aka Siro just to name just a few. It is a leafy-green side street, boasting a modern park, the perfect place to lounge as you enjoy your coffee or to bask in a bit of vitamin D (or both). The amazing Fitzroy gardens and Carlton gardens are also a short walk away. If you work or like to play in the city, spring street is no more than 25 minutes walk to Melbourne CBD. It is also serviced by the 86 tram on smith street and the trams and buses on Victoria street and Collingwood train station are all within 10 minutes walking distance. What more could you ask for?
