Moving to Joondalup

i am currently applying to migrate to perth, Joondalup, with a child of 5 years old, i have read so many mixed comments about moving, so feel completely confused as to weather im making the right choice here, i am a gymnastic coach, i own my own house back home in northern ireland, i hope that moving to perth will open more doors for my daughter and myself, any advice on best areas to look for houses or gyms would be much appreciated. thank you.
