I'm going to say yes, Pilsen is a good place for singles in Chicago. It has a real artistic feel, with a lot of young people in the area, and while I wouldn't call it the safest or cleanest place, it isn't terrible either. Cost of living is good, and you should be relatively happy here if you're single.
