Moved to plainland a few years ago and should have moved sooner! This place is very quiet and high, not flooded during the floods, and shopping it has woolies, a new caltex servo with kfc, subway and hungry jacks and also big dads and a fresh seafood place and dont forget shultz meat tavern, a lovely trendy pub and a new medical centre and chemist in where you dont have to really book to see a doctor!!! Also has a friendly thrifty hardware store and large lutheran school. I moved from Sydney and this place is like heaven to me, great for the retiree's and young family with kids, as to centre of Brisbane city is only 50 mins away while to ipswich its only 30 mins.

Close to Brisbane, close to Ipswich. Only 2hrs to Gold or Sunshine Coast. Friendly people, new development happening over next few years. Close to awesome Bill Gun and Atkinson Dams where you can take your non-powered, electric or fuel powered boats, water skiing, camping, fishing, bush walks and picnics!! LOTS AND LOTS OF SPACE. Large acreage blocks and beautiful scenery around surrounding suburbs. Great place for kids to grow up. Highly recommend for a family that wants a tree change.
