The restaurants in PV are good, but limited. There are many very good restaurants of all types within 15 minute drives in any direction.

The Publick House is really good, and while I like the Four Brothers chain for pizza, Publick House really has to be the best.

The Publick House Bar & Camaraderie has some really tasty American food including its award-winning wings. It has actually been acclaimed as one of the best restaurants in the Hudson Valley and was ranked as one of the top five hotspots in/around Poughkeepsie. They have Wi-Fi access, big screen HDTVs to catch the games, a pool table, beer pong, darts, a DJ and dancing, live entertainment, cool cocktails and terrific happy hours.
