Where can you surf near Port Douglas?

There is a little bay between Port Douglas and Cairns called Ratshit bay which has a small wind swell (best during a cyclone). When i first arrived in the area we used to take a boat out to the outer reef where we found a great reef break directly off the coast from Cow Bay. Other wise take up skiing at Tinaroo.

Surfing doesn't happen much in Nth QLD due to the reef. Also please research crocodiles prior to to going into the water in nth qld.
