Parking in Port Melbourne
Port Melbourne, VIC 3207 is located within the Port Phillip local government area, part of the Melbourne (Greater) Region in Victoria.
Can any Port Melbourne residents give me some tips on finding parking in Port Melbourne. I am regularly attending functions in the area and always get stuck in 2 hour metered spots, and yes I have been fined in the past.

Hi melbournefan,
Parking in Port Melbourne can be a bit of a pain as most of the parking in Port Melbourne is only an hour or two OR permit zone.
There are however a few hidden gems where parking is unrestricted. The best parking in Port Melbourne is on Danks Street just behind Rouse Street. It is completely unrestricted along there, and most people don't know about it.
If anyone else knows of great parking in Port Melbourne, please do share!

There is one large multi storey car park in Port Melbourne, but that is on Bay Street. Can't go wrong there.
