No hospitals in Port Washington, but St Francis Hospital is located immediately outside of PW, on Port Washington Blvd, as well as North Shore Hospital (in Manhasset on Community Drive), and Long Island Jewish (in Great Neck) all have highly respected hospitals and ERs. In addition, the PWFD does an incredible job supplying rapid and reliable ambulance service to the community.

St Francis is one of the top rated Heart hospitals in the country.

The closest hospital emergency room is St. Francis located in Roslyn just outside of Port Washington. But, you should know it is NOT a trauma center. If you think you may need emergency surgery, then you are better off going to North Shore LIJ in Manhasset or LIJ in New Hyde park.
