Whats the best American eatery in Purchase NY?

I second the Cobble Stone. My husband works in Purchase and we've eaten there several times. They have the best mozzarella sticks, and great burgers.

I would definitely recommend The Cobble Stone Restaurant on Anderson Hill Road. It is a favorite amongst students and locals. It was first established in 1933 so it must be doing something right! While the food is not uber spectacular haute cuisine, it is definitely delicious tried and true American fare with all the comfort food favorites including burgers, fries, beef brisket, tuna melts, etc. The place is family-friendly, has a nice bar and the portions are generous for the affordable prices. And who can beat a place with stained glass windows? :)
