Info on Inala, QLD
Hi All,
I am a first time investor who lives in WA but due to crazy prices an investment property here is out of the question for me.
I am looking at Inala, QLD and have read some great reviews.
I have been looking at sales online and can see that many of the houses there seem older and are not brick. I worry about storms and flooding in the area and the house I buy not withstanding the elements. Can anyone put my mind at rest with regard to this or are my concerns a possible reality. I know poor QLD was hard hit last year with devestating damage and loss. I am not sure if Inala was hit and how it fared. Any info or advice would be greatly appreciated.
p.s - the other areas I was contemplating were Kingston and Loganlea. Let me know if you think they are any better for an investment (around $300,000)
Many thanks!!!!

Flood affected property was under 2% of total stock for Brisbane, checking for water problems, either flood or overland flow is one of the due diligence checks an investor should be doing.
There are quite a few choices for 300k in the Logan region, rents are stronger this side of town as well, as always there are good and bad areas in all suburbs and councils.
