"Heavy traffic and home-makers shops"
Anzac Highway is a major road that heads southwards from the city towards Glenelg. It is a very busy street, as it often funnels alot of the traffic from the sprawling southern suburbs into the CBD. As a result, it is noisy and busy, and can be inconvenient if you need to get somewhere in a hurry.
The surrounding streets have some nice homes - lots of 1960s cream brick properties. Overall very comfortable and well-maintained.
Anzac Highway itself is home to Ashford Hospital and also a number of furniture stores, so it seems to lack a true community feel.
