Amazing place with lovley locals

This area is so calming with lots of reserves and the beautiful wetlands, it has hints of a rural feel but still very connected to great public transport, expressway and to all services such as doctors, shops, restaurant/cafes. Although tightly held, I think this area is underrated and clearly out-does many of the significantly more expensive areas which are much further away from the CBD.

I totally agree with Zeon, it is right time to invest in this area as the houses are really at reasonable rate. Also southern express duplication will have tremendous effect in future. Houses are old though but think wise. Area & surrounding is decent and very beautiful. Want to go to city..go via south road southern express...25 minutes, want to go to Airport....take majors road....30 mins, want to go to ikea & habour town both marion & majors rd will do..30 mins, flinders medical, flinders uni, marion shopping not more than 15 mins.....anywayz colonades is also a big shopping centre, accompanied with centrelink, tafe sa, noarlunga medical centre, cinema, and lottts...and lotts ....hahaha...i am liking this area like anything....touch wood!

No horrible experiences uptill now......good houses and right time to invest in this area esp first home buyers..........one of the best thing is in southern surburb you really have good choice of schools...even if its public school all are good ones...good child care facilities, medical centres at 10-15 minutes both noarlunga medical & flinders medical, marion shopping at 10-15 mins, city at 20-25 mins, peaceful living, wat else you want.

One of the safest according to my experience. Very peaceful living with easy access to shopping centres, medicals, schools etc, also not too far from city just 25 minutes, surrounded with wonderful parks & reserves. Just a perfect place for families with kids.

Combination of both country & metropolitan region is a wonderland with peaceful living & also easy access to everything travel to city, public transports, shopping centres, medical centres, restaurants, etc all at very short distance compared to western surburbs where i lived before.

close to the expressways, 10-15 mins to the beaches Glenelg, brighton, 10 mins to westfield marion, flinders hospital...and also not to far if you want to access certain palces in the hills absolute covienence with just about everything...nice reserves to take my kid for a walk...houses prices not expensive for such a location
