Is it peaceful in the Rhawnhurst area?

I'm not sure that I would call Rhawnhurt peaceful, as Cottman Ave is one of this neighborhoods borders and this busy throughway can get quite crazy. Just like anywhere in Philadelphia, Rhawnhurst also has its bad pockets where crime and poverty are more apparent than in other spots. Overall, however, the neighborhoody feel of this area (once you get off the main streets) is fairly peaceful. A lot of families live in this area and have lived in the area for many years, so there is a sense of community in Rhawnhurst as well.
