Riverstone ,NSW Flooding risk

Hi All ,
me and my partner very close to getting a town house in the riverstone suburb. Have read quite a bit of negative news around flooding in the area , especially due the hawkesbury-napean river tributaries. Does anyone have any bad stories of localised flooding happening.
Our street is near grandeur place.

Riverstone got plenty of media reports during recent months, but what not is reported is that it is West Riverstone that copes overflow from south creek and has since before the 1900's. This is all the low land west of the railway line. Unfortunately with the lack of any real research done from the TV Media, all of Riverstone gets tarred with the same brush. Anything East of the rail line is considered the high ground.
