Roscoe Village is quite a bit like the surrounding neighborhoods of Lakeview and Avondale, though you could go a bit south to places like Wicker Park and Bucktown to find similar nice areas with a youthful energy.

Parts of Roscoe Village are trendy and vibrant, while others are residential and quiet. Depending on which of those qualities appeal to you, there are several similar neighborhoods. If you like a bit more excitement and action, you might like the Logan Square / Wicker Park area. For me, the quiet charm of Roscoe Village is highlight, which you can also find in North Center and Lincoln Square.
