"Lovely friendly street.. and quiet too!"
I really enjoy living in Rowan Street. High on a hill, it is quiet and peaceful with no through road - so rarely the sound of traffic to disturb the tranquility - great views and lovely, friendly neighbours. Waking to the dawn chorus is a joy with rarely anything to be heard apart from birdsong. There is a primary school just a few minutes walk away and High Street shops are close by. A sports oval just down the hill and two supermarkets within easy walk, plus doctors and a dentist nearby. We are very well served by public transport with three bus routes just a short walk away. On the top of our hill are wonderful views over Bendigo and, on the other side, sweeping views across Golden Square, Kangaroo Flat to distant Mount Alexander.
