Reviews of Rupert Drive, Mulgrave

"A bit tired but good family area."

This street is a "dog leg" shape. There is the Southern Reserve, a community hall and tennis courts at the end. It is a great facility for the kids as it has a small playground for the little ones. Football and cricket are played there and if the carpark fills up people tend to park on the street which can be annoying to those houses close by.
Car hoons tend to use this road a bit too they use the reserve to turn around and hoon back up the road.
The houses themselves are probably around 25-35 years old and are looking a bit tired. The area is probably ripe for investors and renovators.
There are a couple of noisy dogs in the street that keep things interesting, but above all is a nice family area.
The facilities close by are excellent. Waverley Gardens Shopping Centre is up the road, schools close by both Primary and Secondary are within walking distant.
Nice little strip of shops nearby on Police road with a lovely bakery-that sells the best Ciabatta bread.
Good public transport, although no train.
