What is happening with the F6 Freeway in South Sydney ?
Sans Souci, NSW 2219 is located within the Rockdale local government area, part of the Sydney (Greater) Region in New South Wales.
Hi Everyone, I am looking at purchasing a place in Sans Souci Sydney NSW. I am a bit concerned though as I have found articles that have proposed the F6 Freeway construction through Sans Souci/Monterey/Brighton-Le-Sands and so forth but nothing confirms whether this is a go ahead or not.
Does anyone have any information or advice they can provide?

Hi there, I've spoken to RMS re this issue and like the Roads and Transport Minister announced on Television in December last year has confirmed that the Wetlands and Parklands Corridor along Sans Souci isn't Suitable as the soil along there is too soft and that through their testing have found Rocky Pt Rd to be a suitable option.
The Wetlands and Parkland around this area is too valuable and an Important Environmental asset that could never be replaced.

I am also planning to move to Rockdale, but I wondered which part of it to be built F6. Where are the ramps, tunnel or above surface rorad?
