How safe is Clarendon Road for a young latina?

I grew up in a developing country so I can handle some sketchy stuff but I am seeing very mixed comments about this area. I am a 24 year-old latina considering renting in this area (Clarendon Road more specifically). I know not to do stupid stuff like walk with your phone out in the middle of night with your earphones blasting music so you can't hear your surroundings. I also usually arrive home by 9-10pm and I went partying I'd make sure I stay at a friend's. All this said, would I be relatively safe?
