Somersby is a peaceful, tree lined country community with some spectacular views and very popular with the horse enthusiasts. It is located in the Hinterland region of the Central Coast close to Peats Ridge and Mangrove Mountain, no suburbia, just lots of green acreage, anything from 1/2 acre, 5 acres to over 50 acres. Great place to raise kids. Somersby is as equally beautiful as the exclusive Sydney acreages suburbs such as Dural and Duffys Forest without the high price tag and only 1hr commute to the centre of Sydney CBD and only 45 mins to Chatswood - close to the train station as well. Very safe and secure with a small public school with only 100 children and a newly built State high school only 5 mins away. Close to all private schools. 5 mins to the freeway so there are no traffic jams getting on or off the F3 freeway as Somersby can be accessed from two exit ramps. About 10 mins drive to Coles, Woolworths and Westfield's shopping centres, so you can be close to all amenities and yet you live in the country. Around 25-30 mins to all the beautiful beaches on the Central Coast including Terrigal beach, Avoca, Toowoon Bay and Pearl Beach.
