Canberra has a large public bus network and also light rail from Gungahlin to Civic.
There are plans to extend the light rail system to the Parlimentary Triangle then through to Woden in the next few years.
The main corridor of Canberra was originally designed to accomidate light rail though it has taken over 100 years to get it put in since that plan was made
