Will the West Connex St Peters Interchange affect houses near Alfred St?
St Peters, NSW 2044 is located within the Marrickville local government area, part of the Sydney (Greater) Region in New South Wales.
I'm looking at buying in this street. West Connex website says the interchange will be at Alexandria Landfill but I know these things can change.
I know this street is in the flight path....doesn't worry me too much but would love any info from a local in the area.

The WestConnex interchange will bring 30000 to 100000 daily extra cars over time into the area. Also the extra pollutants coming from the tunnel will increase nitrogen monoxide, carbon monoxide and PM2.5 carciginous diesel particulates. Also the cost of the tunnels will cost everyone in NSW a total of $15 billion in taxes and tolls.

There are two exhaust stacks planned for the St Peters interchange. Also they are generally placed 3.6 km apart so another maybe at N Arncliffe. http://www.westconnex.com.au/documents/20150513_council_reference_group_meeting_notes.pdf If you are looking to buy in the inner west now, be sure to ask for a 'westconnex discount'

HI Andrew Thank you! Do you know where the smoke stacks will be located or is this still to be decided?
