We have lived in Appin for 11 years on a rural property, surrounded by lush green hills. Where else in Sydney could you aford acreage living 15 minutes from the beach, 20 minutes from major shopping centre, 20 minutes from historical Picton with close proximity to southern highlands.

"A great place to bring up a family"
Appin is a small country town surrounded by national park and farmland. It allows activities such as bush walking and mountain biking and has many historical sites. It is quiet without being dull and has a great pub with brilliant bistro and friendly atmosphere. Appin is only 20 minutes from Campbelltown CBD and 20 minutes from Wollongong beaches. If you like country living with all amenities at your doorstep then Appin is for you.......
We have lived in Appin for over 10 years and came here from Sutherland Shire, the change was breathtaking. The community is so friendly and everyone makes you very welcome. I wouldn't have it any other way now.

"Small little town"
Appin is a small little town located south of Campbelltown. I always drive past this town on my way to the South Coast of New South Wales. There are always a lot of nice tall trees along the road going into the town which makes it a great drive before you hit the shops. The shops here seem to be struggling with only really the pie shop doing well. There is a dance wear shop, but you would tend to think who in their right mind would open a dance wear shop in such a small town. There is also a motel on the main street with a Chinese restaurant in it but it does not look like it is ever open as there is always a thick layer of dust on its windows.
