Reviews of Bardwell Park, NSW
"An Oasis close to CBD"
I moved to BardwellPark from Western Suburbs 7months ago. I have never been happier. The suburb is only 9.5km from Townhall 18 mins train ride to Central and has regular trains every 13 mins. The suburb is also filled lush greenary and a very pleasant neigbourhood. People who live here are all established working couples and families.
I usually travel overseas part of my job and the close promixity to both International and Domestic Airport is very convenient. It only takes 10 mins $20cab ride and if you are catching the train its only 6 mins to Both Airports. I remember paying $100 cab fare from Airport where I used to live.
The only pitfall in BardwellPark is the post office. It is only open between 7am-5pm Mon-Fri. It also have no restraunts. Closes you can find one 2 mins drive or 10min walk to Bexley North/Earlwood which where you can find more amenities. Then again close promixity to the city makes it easy hop on a train to city or drive to Brighton le Sands,Rockdale which is only 5-7 mins drive if we decide to eat local. The trains run upto 1am in the morning from central making it convienent to spend more time out not worrying about getting back home.
BARDWELLPARK is really is a little Oasis in Sydney. If you are planing to buy then you will need over $1.2million but if you are planing to Rent then average rental is $650 but can go upto $750. Its a good suburb for both families and couples. It has good schools and parks.

"Sydneys secret beauty"
Very nice suburb sitting on top of a hill looking towards the city. Also sits next to the Wolli Creek reserve. A very green area, big open parklands at the bottom of the hill, even has a long standing duck colony. Very quiet suburb, except for the birds, Cockatoos, Lorikeets etc. Whilst retaining an almost regional feel, is close to the city via both train and M5. The hill also attracts sea breezes making this a very pleasant suburb in summer.
