I have lived in barrack heights for 2 years and have always found it to be good suburb and close to multiple shopping centres and great for recreation being close to the sea.

I lived in Strata ave Barrack heights for 2 years.I loved it.The neighbours where fantastic.When i went away they would watch my house for me and feed my animals.The street was lovely and quiet and the local shops where fantastic.The local pre school that was two streets behind Strata ave was fantastic.Marylou the owner was great with the kids.My daughter was so upset when we moved away.Its the first pre school she was happy to stay at.I love Barrack heights and hope to buy there again some time

Barrack heights is a great place to live, everybody knows and looks out for others. Shops and schools close by. Low crime and friendly neighbours.

Barrack heights is definately the diamond in the rough. It is affordable, yet safe and close everything. Medical centres, shops, public transport, pharmacy, schools, gym, parks are all close by. There is a mix of young families and retirees. Definately the place to be, to raise your family.

Where ever you are in Barrack heights you will always be within walking distance to anything you will need; shopping, schools, medical, transport and beaches. Excellent for pets and people interested in Fitness, also close to a pet friendly beach.

Location is great! Housing is a mix of old and new - middle ground probably $350,00 to $450,000. High schools, public schools, major shopping centre and medical facilities all within excellent reach. So much to do within 10 to 20 minutes drive! Great location and out of the way of holiday traffic! The older area is gradually being rejuvenated by new homes. There are probably 6 clubs within 5 to 10 minutes drive. Bowling alley and so much more! Even great charity stores with excellent furniture and goods. Live 2 streets away for the coastal front and pay a thIrd of the price. Great value for money!!
