Reviews of Berrambool, NSW

"Hidden Gem"

Set slightly off the main road between Merimbula & Tura Beach, awsome views over Merimbula and the bay. This quiet suburb is currently expanding with quality homes. As it is out of the way, most Merimbula residents have never been there and seem surprised at the views when they do.

Blocks selling for $200 - $300k, but good value when compared to blocks with similar views in Merimbula or Tura Beach. Established homes v. good value compare to Short/Long Point and Sunny Waters who get similar quality views. Believe it is currently underpriced, as it is a fairly new sub-division and prices will increase as existing blocks get sold.

As it is no through road, quiet streets and neighbourly, tends to be older people as houses are mediun - high end of the market, few young families.

No shops or services in the suburb itself but Tura Beach shopping strip with a new supermarket being built is just around the corner, with Tura Beach Country Club, Medical Centre and Tavern (a primary school is planned). 5 minutes drive from Merimbula, walk to town or beach in 20 minutes, although path is pretty steep.
