Reviews of Bucca, QLD
"Peace and quiet"
Bucca is a very peaceful place for people who love the bush. There are lots of kangaroos, wallabies, cockatoos, goannas, some koalas in places and echidnas. There are family friendly places, such as Bucca Crossing and Smiths Crossing. They are both nice to swim and kayak at.
Land and housing is very affordable and you can get a lot for your dollar. It is a nice drive to Bundaberg or to Gin Gin for shopping or work.
The Bucca Hotel and South Kolan are great places for good country food and great entertainment. They are both family friendly.
"Good purchase for lifestyle and profit gains."
Bucca is a ever growing cattle cane horse area just minutes to pristine fishing and camping areas around Mira back to Bundaberg. Its a sought after area regarding people from interstate who know and understand value and more importantly future investment growth.
Bucca itself is well known for a niche area called Smiths Crossing this was the main travel route for many decades it now is a major and unique picnicing area besides the Kolan river the wildlife is amazing with rare and special wild life animals to be seen every where, most inportantly because of less intense cropping most all the area surrounding the Bucca area is chemical free unlike many other areas around Bundaberg.
Children in the area have many out door areas for horse riding and sporting events swimming camping and fresh water fishing largely an area one should explore if here .Will not disapoint..........

"A mixture of Lifestyle & Commercial Farming"
Bucca is predominantly lifestyle properties ranging in size from 2-100acres, though also including some large grazing properties and small crop & cane farms.
This area has been popular with the "Horsy" faternity as the lifetsyle properties are big enough to be fenced into multiple paddocks, the properties generally are of soil type not to hold moisture after heavy rains and the general distance to services.
Situated approx 20mins North West of Bundaberg, ready access to the school bus system and as a bonus, come and check out the internationally recognized Bucca Rowing Club on the Kolan River.
All in all, a greta family atmoshpere or an ideal location to retire.
