"A slice of heaven"
My family have a farm in bungonia. I have seen massive changes to this town, more so in the population growth. While there is a stable permanent population, there has been a significant increase in people from Sydney, bowral, mittagong and Canberra buying up land for weekend stays. This has caused the council to upgrade the roads and put in new signage making the roads alot safer to travel on.
Bungonia national park is the absolute highlight of bungonia. I would dare say it would be in the top 5 national parks in Australia.
Bungonia is only 20 mins to Goulburn, 10 to 15 mintues to the town of Marulan, under 2 hours from Sydney and abit over an hour to Canberra. It is a town that allows you to be secluded from society but is still close enough to all amenities a person needs and wants.
I highly recommend people to visit Bungonia, even a day trip to the national park, you won't be disappointed that's for sure!!
