Lives in Carindale for more than 3 years. It is an area rich in walking tracts, shopping experiences, centrally located close to all possible amenities and just a 15 minute drive form the CBD

Carindale is probably the most beautiful place to live in, surrounding with large parks, tracks, golf course, parks, shopping centre.
People here are well educated, nice and peaceful.

We love living here, surrounded by trees, the Bulimba Creek walk, parks, only 20 mins to the city, an hour to the gold coast, and 5 mins walk to Westfield. A lovely safe area surrounded by nice leafy streets and lovely houses especially those surrounding our pristine local golf course.

Carindale is definitely a more higher priced place, but I think it was a fanastic place to live, I lived in an complex right across from Carindale Shopping Centre, the neighbors were friendly, I felt safe walking from my house to Carindale (My house was at the back of the complex, so still a bit to get there), and if you can afford it, I say make it your home. If I was ever to buy a house, Carindale would definitely be the place.

I think Carindale is now too expensive for what you get

Carindale is an established suburb, only 8 km east of Brisbane's CBD, well-positioned close to quality schools, shops, walking and cycle tracks, sporting facilities and parks, and hosts one of Brisbane’s best golf courses. The Gateway Arterial motorway gives ready access to the north and south coasts, and the airport for business travellers and visitors. It scores high for professional families, and the size of homes makes it great for large families.

Carindale has so much to offer with good schools, Westfield Shopping Centre, Park and Ride for transport to the city. Close to the Gateway Motorway allowing easy access to the Brisbane Airport, the Gold Coat and the Sunshine Coast. Only 15 minutes to the shores of Moreton Bay. There isn't much that isn't available in or around Carindale.

I grew up here and my parents still live there. It was always a great suburb and has got better with age. Great shopping centre and restaurants close by. Public transport is buses only but they run so frequently. Am tempted to buy here one day.
