Reviews of Condell Park, NSW
"Community but geographical location in the context of surrounding suburbs can deter"
People who have resided in this suburb for a considerable amount of time naturally gravitate toward the suburb's bountiful community services it has to offer. It being a few stone throws away from Bankstown with its huge shopping complex makes lifestyle convenient for family living at a low cost. Education facilities, however, are not supreme, as even in Bankstown, there aren't a great deal of top notch schools. Still, there are several fair local schools. Access to amenities may be a conundrum, but the safe and tranquil environment away from the notoriety of Bankstown makes up widely for that. Restaurants may be accessed in Bankstown.
"The place to live"
I have lived in Condell Park for over 20 years up on the hill Commonly known as “Black Charlie’s Hill “ so named after a Indigenous scout that through world war two looked out for enemy aircraft attacking Sydney Harbour and reporting back to a radio room in one of the tunnels/ bunkers in the hill. We stand at the highest point above sea level between sydney cove and the Blue Mountains being the first line of defence had the harbour been invaded. Now the site of many prestigious homes occupied by diverse culture and wide range of of professionals , business owners and retirees a highly sort and preferred area in the south west.

"Comfortable Living"
Condell Park is a quieter suburb to its hustle and bustle neighbour of Bankstown. We moved into Condell Park from out of the area for convenience and affordability (although house prices have gone up now). Very friendly people of all nationalities but mostly Macedonian and Vietnamese background. Only a 5 minute drive to Bankstown shopping district, or there is a shopping strip in Condell Park with a supermarket. Depending on which street you are in you will have some light aircraft noise from Bankstown Airport, which isnt a bother considering I lived in the Inner West with 747's and Airbus' from Sydney Airport flying over me. Plenty of families with children in the area, so New Years Eve has plenty of fireworks going off all night. Occassionally teenage children riding their small dirt bikes. Kids being kids. Overall I really enjoy living in the area for the convenience, family atmosphere and friendly neighbourhood.

"Real Sense of Community "Caloola Street Condell Park""
I have recently moved into the area, and think the sense of security you have is hard to find in Sydney now a days with gorgeous tree lined streets all the way to the top of the hill, just shows how much pride people have for their homes in the area. Always very clean and tidy with parks and rec areas for the kids really lends itself to bring up a family , have to say a real credit to Bankstown council . Bankstown CBD being only 5mins drive away or a 10min bus ride down Marion street , then you have all the CBD trains 18km or 35-45mins with makes things really convenient. All over a really safe and quite area a stone’s throw from everything a family needs.
