Reviews of Cooran, QLD

"Affordable housing does exist in central location COORAN"

Cooran is a beautiful area with the mountains and clean air.
25 mins to Noosa and 25 mins to Gympie. 5 mins to Pomona and 10 mins to Cooroy. Can't complain!
The main street has been recently renovated and has a lovely restaurant/cafe, corner shop, hall, hairdresser, art gallery and medical practice. There is also a kids park, oval and playing field with the rugby club in a central location.
The rail can transport you anywhere you like and there is a bus route that services the town throughout the day.
The focus is on the family with a very safe neighbourhood and I there is a school located in Cooran also. You get to know your neighbours and everyone is friendly.
There are scenic trails in the township and it is easy to get around with great walk/cycle paths.
From my street we have views of the mountains from our house and all the blocks are twice the size of regular residential blocks in other areas like Tewantin and are much cheaper.
So if you are after affordability and a great, scenic environment Cooran has it all!

Looking for a home in Cooran?

"Quiet , get away from it all"

If youre looking for a great family environment where the focus is on community , it is here. The village dominated by Mnt Cooran has had a make over and would rate as one of the prettiest in the SE. Rail and bus services connet you to the rest of the SE including Brisbane and 35 min driving has you at Noosa Beach.
There are Eco markets, music nights, and a community self sufficiency movement in the town. The school is of a good standard and there is are basic shops in the main street.
Its about Arts and Crafts. Still Pomona and Cooroy are very close and offer Pubs , supermarkets, cafes and clubs
