The suburb mostly being in the catchment for the Brisbane South State Secondary College is a huge bonus.

Excellent accessibility to public transport, bikeways and motorway. Lots of green space and playgrounds for kids. Great local community full of diversity thanks to the many different property types - older units, new units and lots of young families. Local park run and walking groups and awesome cafes and access to shopping such as Aldi, IGA and Coles. We’ve been here 13 years and love it!

Great place to raise a young family. Close to shops, city, SE Freeway, public transport, schools.

Public transport is close by, as is access to the SE Freeway. Greenslopes Mall has Coles and take away shops. People are friendly. Lots of families and professionals. I like it.

My partner and i purchased our first home in Greenslopes in Dec 2018. We were drawn to the area for the value for money, proximity to the city and motorways and potential for stones corner to become a cool bar, dining and shopping hub. Shops are super close and handy and everyone has been so friendly so far.

Tucked away close to the motorway and only a short trip into the CBD, Greenslopes is an old suburb named after the farming land it was set and now is a popular inner city suburb sought after by investors and owner occupiers. Stones Corner is currently being revitalised with big developments set to take place. The new shopping centre on the corner or Chatsworth Rd and Logan Rd is always busy with IGA, Sushi, a Coffee shop etc. Greenslopes Mall is the largest place to shop but is becoming slightly dated. Overall Greenslopes is convenient and a great place to call home.

Greenslopes is a pleasant middle and working class suburb reasonably close to the CBD. It has the advantage of being very close to the motorway which makes commuters more likely to choose this suburb based on mere convenience. There are many apartment buildings in this suburb which do not detract from the pleasant leafy appeal of this suburb. The Greenslopes Private hospital is also a big plus for those who want a hospital close by. Downside is the parking on the streets can be tough due to staff members from the hospital parking on the streets but also due to the occupiers of a multitude of apartment buildings all requiring parking on street.

My grandmother lives here and I have many fond memories of Greenslopes. This is a great suburb - has the best private hospital in Qld, okay range of shops and so close to the city. My grandmother loves it here as she feels safe, has a good range of local shops and has many elderly friends here (are many old people here). Only problem is the zippy pathology cars that fly along the streets to and from the hospital. Also, if you live near the hospital, your street will be full of cars.
