Reviews of Grose Vale, NSW
"Feels exactly like a rural suburb should!"
Grose Vale is a very picturesque, rural suburb close to the town centre of Nth Richmond. It is set in a vale of rolling hills, wrapped by the pretty Grose River. The river is accessible for kayaking, swimming and bbq's from Navua Reserve (or if you are lucky, from many private properties along the river). The suburb is made up mainly of families residing on small to mid acreage lots, and has a farmland feel with many having horses, cattle, chickens and other family pets. This is a 'leave your door unlocked' kind of area, where people seem to feel safe, and the neighbours will drop in for a cuppa or keep an eye on your place if you're away. I've loved bringing up my children in a place they can duck to the river to fish, go bushwalking in their backyard, enjoy firepits in Winter, and make noise while riding bikes, climbing trees and hanging with friends. Five stars don't seem enough for what it's given my family!
