"A beautiful town."
Junee is a small, rural town about 30 minutes north of Wagga.
It's very quiet,pretty and friendly.
No. There's not a lot of shops, but Wagga is only 30 minutes away.

"Close to the biggish smoke, but not too close"
A lovely country town providing peace and quiet from very lovely friendly locals, and a stone's throw from everything else you have to get in Wagga Wagga. A suitable number of parks and entertainment choices provide distraction and a place to relax. It's a big railway town so it has an excellent rail service compared to similar sized towns but this also means the road service is poor and there is an element of rowdy railway workers. A good choice of pubs but eating options are limited as people tend to pop out to Wagga Wagga if they need a fancy meal. Don't be put off by the prison, the wardens seem to do their work well and it provides much needed economic activity and job opportunities for local tradies. It could do with a river, but the Murrum's not too far on those hot summer days. Don't be tricked by 'Old Junee'. We thought it might be nice and historic part of town but it's nothing too special.
