Reviews of Kalaru, NSW
"The way it use to be"
This suburb is fab, cause its what I call a fringe suburb, just a few minutes from the best beaches, no more than fiffteen minutes form town, plenty of galleries and coffee places to meet up with friends, or just have a tasty cuppa. The best is that the prices of housing isnt as expensive as say Tathra just 3 minutes down the road, you dont have to worry about salt decaing your premisies, clothes etc, but still get that sea breeze on hot .
The people are relaxed and very friendly, its not a break neck speed to get from point a to b, life is good and is reflected in the population. As alot of the children are brought up on farms, they learn how things are in the real world, they tend to be much more responsible, and respectful, this is definately a BIG plus, this is a rare comodity in the city.
I couldnt think of anywhere else I'd rather be, Ive lived in a southern suburb of Sydney for the past 41 years, and I loved it when we moved here, however it is just horrible now with the vandalism, crime. One dose, not feel safe going out at night anymore, where as down in Kalaru, I have no problem walking my dog at night, no fear, just enjoy the purity of the place.
