Reviews of Kawana Island, QLD
"A largely affluent but caring community"
Moving from the wondrous privacy of acreage life to Kawana Island was a particularly disconcerting move at the time; however, despite the ridiculously narrow roads in the community, the transition was eased by the fact that there are so many like-minded folk who understand the relative limitations and try to work within the constraints. Certainly, it’s one of the more sought-after areas on the Sunshine Coast and, aside from some reservations with regard to inconsiderate noise, we have enjoyed living here.

"A CENTRALLY LOCATED ENVIABLE LIFESTYLE WITH A FRIENDLY COMMUNITY FEEL"
Kawana Island has alot to offer - the Double Bay cafe and restaurant precinct, walking and cycling paths around the picturesque waters of Lake Parrearra, numerous parks and playgrounds dotted within the estate, and is conveniently located just a short drive to the new Sunshine Coast University Hospital and medical facilities. It's central location allows you to be minutes away from local shopping centres and popular beaches.
The area also has a great community feel with Kawana Island Residents Association (KIRA).
