Reviews of Logan Village, QLD
"Country town close to all the city amenities"
Logan Village is a lovely area to live and work, it is far enough away to enjoy a quiet lifestyle, have your horses and a bit of land but still be am easy commute to the M1 and surrounds.
We many many properties in the area and all enjoy long term tenancies due to the family friendly area.

"Never looked back"
We moved here in 2008 from a 620m2 block onto 2 1/2 acres. We love the space, peace and quiet and our neighbours couldnt be more fantastic. I work in Brisbane so it's a bit of a trek but definately possible and there can only be better things to come as far as public transport and commercial development.
Great for
- Quiet
- No fast food outlets
- Yarrabilba estate planned for future
Not great for
- Not asmuch wild life as you'd expect
- Poor public transport
- It comes under Logan City Council

"Something For Everyone..."
If you are into an acreage way of life then there is something for everyone. Liking the idea of being community oriented or simply want to be a recluse, either way it is an okay place to be, horse lovers rave over it!
In recent time property sizes have changed, today 1/4 acre lots are available and selling quickly. The most common block size would now be 2.5 acres upwards with the odd 1 acre in the town centre. The majority of locals are content to have natural chemical free tank-water supply.
Logan Village's main shopping centre will at last undergo a revamp in coming months.
To find out the town's history, drop into the local community centre and museum at the corner of Wharf and River Streets, or call into local Logan Village Inn. The local hotel once had a sandstone lock-up attached at the rear of the orginal building.
Knowing the area as I do, I am happy to share the good and not so good on local issues anytime.
Trivia: Until amalgamation of Queensland local councils, Logan Village came under Beaudesert Shire Council which is known today as the Scenic Rim Shire. Logan Village and surrounds is now included in Logan Shire.
