"A future hub for Logan"
With motorway access, schools, shops, a major train station and a nearby hospital, Loganlea is quickly becoming a local hub for young professionals and families. Its also an awesome investment area with the nearby facilities!

"Local and Lovin it"
Such a great place to bring up kids with 3 great parks, one with a skate park, schools close, affordable housing, close to the city and Gold Coast, easy public transport options, near both M1 and Logan Motorway. There definitely has been some break ins around from time to time (not me personally) but my overall experience with my family has been great. Neighbours also friendly

"Undergoing a full revival"
Ive been living in Loganlea for over a year now. It has been overall a really great experience. I live in a new estate of which there are many popping up all around the suburb, it's super quiet and pretty, the neighbors are a little more insular than I may have liked, but I'm not complaining. I'm in walking distance to a Coles and Woolies. I absolutely love the Fruit and Veg shop up the road, best and cheapest produce. it has great links to the city and Gold Coast using the M1 or train. there are so many parks and footpaths to go for morning and weekend jogs. Finally there are lots of really nice places to eat out at in Loganlea and its surrounds. I am really happy here!

"An okay place to live."
I've lived here for years, It's not the best place but by far not the worst either.
There is a Hospital, Train station (That goes to the Goldcoast & city) also a University near by.
There is & has always been some crime about but nothing too bad.
It's affordable to live in and all in all okay place.

"Not the best of the best"
I lived there for around 5 years and I did not enjoy it. Stereotypically, Loganlea does not hold a very good reputation and, to a large degree, I can see why. During the five years there, I've witnessed fights and crime as well as hearing hoons at night. Despite this, it is good in terms of its location, with its own hospital, close access to the M1 motorway, a train station (with express services to the city and gold coast) as well as a University (Griffiths).

"Enjoy the benfits of a city within a leafy landscape"
We moved into Loganlea 5 years ago. I must admit I was pessimistic at the time, my expectations were that we would be confronted by the typical Logan stereotypes of two-headed home mechanics serenading us with their barking pit bulls. As it turned out, this was simply not the case. Instead we were welcomed by our neighbours with open arms, and found that the area is blessed by some beautiful parks. Each morning we have Kookaburras and Rainbow Lorikeets in our trees, something which I never experienced when I was in the city.
Loganlea is undergoing a period of gentrification, and the area is just starting to get some local eating places other that Macdonalds. The closest places to eat are Waterford, Loganholme, or Browns Plains. There are a large number of rentals in Loganlea which does impact on how people care for their properties. To be honest I think they should chop the suburb in half and from Pinelands Road northwards. The southern half is quite nice. Loganlea is central to the M1 (Brisbane/Gold Coast) and the Ipswich Motorway, and has plenty of public transport including an express train to the city. Overall, not a bad place to live - it just depends on your needs.

"Loganlea is a great place"
I have lived in Loganlea happily for 7 1/2 years and have been very happy and although we have thought about moving once or twice, we keep deciding this is the place we love and want to call home. The neighbours are friendly, the schools and shops are nice and close, we have great public transport ans easy access onto the motorway. We are close to the hospital Uni and tafe and only 5 minutes from Hyperdome.Evergreen park is a great place to take the kids and Riverdale park is an easy drive.

"Living in Loganlea"
On any given night we can hear one of the surrounding neighbours fighting and swearing. Others are too lazy to get up and move a chair laying in their front yard let alone mow the long grass its laying in. Our suburb made it on the national news due to gang fights last week. I dont feel safe going for a walk alone and always make sure our doors are locked. Thank heavens we're moving soon. Rents are high for such poor quality homes and low income area.
I really like our suburb Loganlea, our neighbours were really friendly (maybe I was just lucky). It is a key location to live if one needs to commute to the city or Gold Coast given its proximity to Loganlea Railway Station. Logan Hospital, TAFE and Griffith University are just a few of the facilities here. Alot of professionals are seeking accommodation in Loganlea and the older generation needing to downsize have been able to capitalise on the sale of their now 'too big' homes. I love the services and facilities here. Yes, there are some screamers in the vicinity, but the Police inform they have their regular call outs in Loganholme and Shailer Park. Sadly I have to leave Logan and move down south to the ccccold.
My sister has lived in Loganlea for 7 years and although some parts of Loganlea are not so savoury, other parts are OK. You get good and bad in all areas but I guess more so in Logan City. We lived at Calamvale and there were ferrels there too. We lived in Salisbury and there were some ferrels also. We have lived all over the south of Brissie and I can tell you Loganlea is not that bad compared to some other suburbs. Just pick the right street.
