Reviews of Marsden Park, NSW
"Great for families"
Moved in here few months back and enjoying every moment. Great for families with kids and there are some parks nearby and coles for essentials. Safe and quiet suburb . Good options for primary schools and a new high school is about to be built.
With having all right foundations in place , this suburb has high potential to grow over time .

"Progressive suburb"
Marsden Park is moving ahead in leaps and bounds. With an abundance of walking paths, lakes, schools and now a brand new shopping village, Marsden Park is the ideal place to raise a family. No matter where you go, families are out and about enjoying the sporting fields, numerous parks and shops and cafes. Marsden Park is family orientated and very accepting of different cultures. Diwali is celebrated with colourful dresses and dancing in the streets. Christmas is celebrated with an abundance of decorations and lights. Halloween is celebrated with street parties and kids trick or treating. There's something for everyone at Marsden Park.
"Location Location More time to spend with family, everything at your footstep"
Living in Marsden Park for 3 years now. Best location Aldi 2 min drive, Woolworths 3 min drive, Two new Coles within 5 min. Cafes, restaurants nearby, beautiful Grange Estate small and friendly. Close to M7.Fernwood and childcare in my estate with more to come, what more could I ask for?

"Bland with bad traffic"
Overpriced cookie cutter properties. No trees, nothing interesting nearby, unbearable traffic with hardly any entry/exits into the suburb.
Great if you like staying at home all the time or sitting in traffic in an oversized SUV.

"Good for shopping not for living.."
If you are one of those who buy daily groceries from Costco..This suburb would be a perfect fit for you..
Better than living in Mt Druitt or Wahlan even-though they are not very far from here..Good for anyone who work locally within Blacktown or Hawkesbury Council area but not for anyone who work in the City.

"Heaven"
Heavenly blue mountains view, topped by new parks, clean footpaths and great facilities. IKEA, M7, Costco, Bunnings, Lindt, Woolworths and Aldi just a short drive with Coles just a stones throw away (under construction). Beautiful suburb. Lovely neighbours. Several gym in the area. Frangos and metro station on the way.

Metro station??When??This is just a sweet day dream by most of those people who are buying from Marsden park...Can you show any NSW infrastructure projects indicate about any potential Metro station..Do not tell that you heard from a realestate agent..
"Fantastic area, especially Elara/Newpark estates"
Marsden Park is a fantastic area to live. Especially the Elara and Newpark estates with the nice greenspaces and lake area. Close to all sorts of shops and food. Central to M7 to get to Sydney or also good for travelling north, south or west. Great family environment with lots of young familys

"One of the best communities"
I’ve lived in around 10 different suburbs but Marsden Park is by far the nicest - short drive to all the facilities, good traffic management as entry / exits aren’t on the main roads. Once the train station metro comes in, would be a delight.

"What a nice suburb"
Nice parks, lake, close to m7 and metro. Very close to the Norwest business park, private hospital, and great private school - St Luke’s in the area.
Very secure area with constant security roaming at night time around Newpark.

"A community where everyone knows you"
Lots of community events within Elara (before Covid), among lots of exercise trials current and planned. Coles will be a short walking distance with the other supermarkets also within marsden park at driving distance.

"Rapid developing area with lots of facilities"
Have a massive medical centre close by which closes at 10pm. Woolworths, Costco, Aldi and soon Coles all within a short drive away. Very nice suburb and fast developing. Very safe and new lake looks like it’s developing well.
Public transport includes a free peak hour shuttle to Schofields station with future metro train coming into south street.

Its not too bad. In peak hour, I park at Tallawong and get the frequent metro across. Otherwise I also have the option of parking in Altrove, and catching express trains to the city from Schofields. Always find parking in either streets of Tallawong or streets of Altrove, Schofields.
Otherwise driving, breeze down the M7, M2 and Lane Cove Tunnel - traffic around harbour bridge which is normal and expected. There is a bit of traffic on Elara Blvd but its due to construction workers and its usually the other way around so when Im leaving Elara, theyre usually lined up to enter and when Im entering Elara, theyre lined up to exit.
"A country town feel in a major city"
Marsden Park has a great community feel. The are lots of open green space and major retailers like IKEA and Costco are minutes drive away. The suburb is working through its fair share of public transport. You don’t have live Marsden Park once the whole community is built as it will have all the facilities.
I can easily see resembles of castle hill before the crazy development with affluent young white collar families moving into this area.
Elara is very well planned community with one of the best upcoming catholic school in the country.
