"Presents nice but no so to live in"
I couch surfed at my friends house who lives in the area whilst waiting for my belongings to be shipped back to Aus from studying overseas. She had a nice cosy 2 bedroom place that looked homely but after living there only a couple of weeks I realised how disruptive and not so safe the neighborhood was. The residents a few houses down were often up making noises (yelling and swearing at each other and there dogs) around 11pm at night and whenever I went outside to have a look they would either yell at me then or the next morning. Once a fortnight on a consistent basis, they would have the authorities around their place. My friend has sinced moved from the area back into the CBD.
Its not all bad. One positive of the area: there's a really nice cafe just passed the end of the street called Equim social and it's only a 5 minute drive to supermarkets.
Although there were no break ins, I would recommend getting a security camera if you are going to move to this area. Most other neighbours in the street were genuine and lovely.
