"Mt Martha offering the best of quality lifestyle living"

Mt Martha has been on an upward boom since the late 1990’s and doesn’t show any signs of slowing down. Old and new Mt. Martha coexist in an enviable harmony. The village is a popular weekender, trendy café’s, lunch and dinner dining and just over the road; South beach arguably one of the best peninsula beaches.

Property built high on the hill along the Esplanade from Dominion Road to Bruce Road bordering Martha Cove take in some of the best views the peninsula has to offer. Mt Martha has its share of multimillion dollar homes and affordable family abodes.

Mt Martha is home to the Briars homestead, the Mornington Peninsula Astronomical Society, Life Saving Club, Mt. Martha Saints football club and plenty of other sporting options. A family orientated township well serviced with primary and secondary schools, Benton Square Shopping Centre, sporting fields, public transport and easy pairing to Peninsula Link. Many commute to the CBD each day but love coming home to the Mt. Martha lifestyle.

"Bayside appeal at the peak of luxury living"

Mt Martha combines a vast amount of new contemporary houses and more traditional weatherboard holiday houses. The suburb is popular for offering large bay views of the city and sizeable houses with pools and tennis courts. Mt Martha is one of the more premium suburbs in the area. The popular Pillars is also very beautiful during summer and continues to attract a lot of people to the area. Mt Martha is popular for its sandy beaches and turquoise water. The shopping centre is also very cute and offers a variety of shops for residents. Otherwise residents shop in the popular Main St Mornington shopping strip.

"Quintessential sea side living."

It’s truly something special, with the boutique little village tucked in right behind one of the most beautiful beaches, Mount Martha is quintessential sea side living. You’ll find yourself feeling more relaxed than ever in this quiet tree invested town where the community is just as lovely as geographical location. Mount Martha offers great clubs such as the recently renovated lifesaving club that offers the Nippers program where your little ones learn essential skills and have a ball at the same time. There is also the yacht club, dog club, bowls, golf and more. Mount Martha offers great walking tracks and parks such as the spectacular Estuary Boardwalk and the Briars.

Mount Martha is a great place to live!

"Perfect!!"

My family just moved to Mount Martha. At first we thought it might be to far from town but it has been more than manageable and with the new freeway coming it can only get better. We love this area. It's peaceful, the beaches are beautiful. There is a fantastic mix of people, early morning in town feels like being at a cool coffee shop in town. Only downfall is adjusting to the feeling of being on holiday all the time. Getting up for work is difficult!

"Bang for your buck housing"

Housing is cheap given what you get for your money, particularly compared to many Melbourne suburbs that can only boast to being "close to the city".

Great place for families and a pleasure to come home to after a day of work.

The lack of shopping, nightlife & limited eating out options directly in Mt Martha is offset by the closness of Mornington and Dromana - this is, after all, a residential area.

Expensive? Compared to where? Sure, you can pay millions for a place in Mt Martha, but there are plenty of places for reasonable prices. If anything, housing is cheaper than many neighbouring areas.

House prices are vastly more cheaper than those suburbs closer despite offering more lifestyle appeal. Very underrated.

"Peaceful, Family-friendly Village"

I moved to the Mornington Peninsula 3 years ago with my husband and 4 children. After settling in for a couple of years and researching all the possible options for living, Mount Martha was our first preference. It has the most wonderful peaceful atmosphere, people are very friendly, it is exceptionally safe, and the schools are excellent. We have been now living in Mount Martha for 6 months and absolutlely love it! I can't imagine us moving ... I really can't find fault with our neighbourhood at all!

"The stuff dreams are made of"

What better place to bring up a family, Mt Martha really has it all. Green, peaceful, village atmosphere, great restaraunts, schools, hospitals, parks and beach close by. Moved here 7 years ago from an acreage property, where I thought was quiet and peaceful, until I came here. Must admit I do hate it when the tourists all converge on our private little oasis, but times like thses I avoid the maddening crowds.
Where I live on the top of Mt Martha hill, really is spectacular and just sitting up here watching the sunset over Port Phillip Bay, truly is awe inspiring. When I went on a whirlwind tour through US, UK and Greek Islands, I can honestly say that I missed this place more than anything.
Glad to call this place my home.

"Such a beautiful place to live"

Mt Martha has it all. Great village atmosphere, friendly people and all the amenities you need. The new Peninsula Link freeway (to be opened in early 2013) will also make it so much easier for people who need to commute to the city for work ! Just watch the house prices go up and up and up........!

"Great place to raise a family"

Mt Martha, in fact the Mornington Peninsula in general, is a great place to raise a family. The whole area is perfect for just about any form of outdoor activity. There are plenty of schools to choose from. All amenities are in the area such as hospitals, shopping centers, day care, etc. Traffic is reasonably low except on weekends because - as you can imagine - lot's of people are keen to come and experience what the peninsula has to offer. Great beaches, wineries and attractions for everyone in the family make it the ideal place to visit and the best place to live.

One of the great things about Mt Martha is it has that close knit village atmosphere. We felt welcome as soon as we moved in and I really can't think of a better place to live.

"Fantastic Area"

Mount Martha and Mornington would have to be one of the best suburbs in Vic. Fantastic beaches with all the amenities you need only few minutes drive away. The only problem I have is the block sizes of the new subdivisions - so small now. Where have the 700sqm+ blocks gone?
