Reviews of Mount Perry, QLD
"Mount Perry- a place to relax"
Mt Perry still has that old country town feeling. Imagine walking into the corner shop and someone knowing your name, having your paper ready for collection and potentially getting your favourite meal on the ready.
Well its not just the corner store, but also the pub, the hardware store and the post office where people just know who you are.
Now its also the sort of place where you could live more remotely if you prefer and enjoy a large acreage property somehwere in the hills and sit back to the breath taking views also on offer.
Mt perry is predominantly Grazing and mining, though there is alot of work currently under way to expand the agricultural side of things also.
For more information on Mt Perry, i would reccommend calling the local council office within the North Burnett Regional Council or contact us directly on 07 4151 3233.

contd.. and what is the rainfall like, (even if on town water) is there decent catchment?!For backyard gardeners, is it a struggle re soil and climate to grow produce? Is it a dry climate for growing plants, or more subtropical? Many thanks for any questions you could answer !!
How do you manage shopping for supplies, other than milk & bread!? ie how often would you drive as far as Bundaberg for necessities, as surely that would be a killer cost with petrol? Or are there closer supplies? Any feedback appreciated !
