Reviews of Old Reynella, SA
"A Mixture of Properties - Easy Access to Expressway"
Old Reynella is an interesting suburb in that is it split (mostly) into 2 sections, the Old Township which is tightly held, has a charming/historical type feel & includes a selection of character-style homes (C1920's etc) as well as newer, courtyard or townhouse developments. Carew's Fields Estate was established in the 1990's & includes more modern style 3 or 4 bedroom homes mostly on smaller or family-sized blocks. Either area has the benefit of excellent local schools, major shopping, eateries, a great pub, winery venue & a busy bus interchange into the city. Old Reynella is 23kms from the city & access to the Southern Expressway is right there. Prices will vary between $350,000 - $650,000 on average.

"One of Adelaides best kept secrets."
What a great place to live, whether a family with children or a professional couple!
Knowing that you can take the dog for a walk or sit at home reading a book with the complete feeling of safety is refreshing and so sadly uncommon these days.
Neighbours are great with a sense of pride for their homes that shows when you drive down any of the streets and the wave of hello when collecting your mail or putting the bin out, or the casual chat over the back fence.
For families, childcare and education are taken care of with choices to suit.
Restaurants and a great pub make a night out fun to plan and the shopping is far from mainstream, making for an enjoyable experience.
What a great place, we're proud to live here!

"Popular Reynella"
Reynella is only a 20 minute drive from Adelaide city and is a popular place for owner occupiers. Reynella is on the up and is considered a top location pitched for growth.
"Historic area with everything you could need"
Old Reynella is home to the Reynella football club, and a large shopping centre. So you can easily get out and about and do your shopping without having to go too far.
Old Reynella is well serviced by public transport as the major bus routes from the city to Noarlunga centre run through here. As a result it is probably the best for frequency of all of the southern suburbs.
As this is an older ‘town’ there are a number of older houses around giving the area a bit more history in its feel. However, there are also plenty of the 70’s and 80’s cream brick houses.
Not as attractive in some parts as its neighbours, but more so than others it is a great area. There are schools and kindergartens nearby and it has a good family feel.
There are also some homes for aged care so it's good for retirees as well.

"A great suburb to live and raise a family"
Reynella is a well established area with well established trees. I have had a lot of friends live in the area and it is always a good place to visit.
Reynella has a number of supermarkets and smaller shopping centres close by including Foodland, and the shops at Old Reynella. The are a number of schools close by including Reynella East Schools.
Reynella is well serviced by a number of bus routes and includes a major interchange close by at Old Reynella. These buses can take you into the city, to Marion or down to Noarlunga Centre. It's a 50 minute ride into the city on the bus.
There are great links to cycling tracks in Reynella for the cyclist and its not uncommon to see people ride to the beach, which is not far away.
There are some great little places to eat around Reynella and Old Reynella which are worth a visit. It makes going out easier if you don't need to go far to get a great meal.
Reynella is a great place to live and raise a family. But, there is a bit for everyone. Couples and retirees would also find Reynella a great place to live.
