Phegans Bay, NSW 2256

A quiet little place with great neighbours, very wecoming to newcomers, out of the traffic, a real bush village, and with fantastic water views. Only 10 minutes to Woy Woy including a train station (good Sydney services), good schools and childcare. Petty crime is pretty much non-existent and the water front is peaceful and clean. Only drawbacks are, no shop. But the local shopping plaza in Woy Woy is only 10 minutes by car. Gosford Council is a bit rotty about fixing the roads - once they do the prices will go boom! Great for retirees who like a nice wander along the walking path to Horsefield Bay. Great for kids if you want yours to grow up in the old fashioned way (laid back, bare foot and bush wise). Locals are divided over the benefit of possums and bush turkeys!

A quiet place where you can sit on your balcony, enjoy the sounds of the bush and look at the water at the same time. No shop/nightlife or school, but thats only a five minute drive away. Great for kids. I'm so pleased to have found somewhere that ticks ALL the boxes. Peace, quiet, bush, water, neighbourly spirit, freeway and trains close by, shops close by. The water is good for boating and coming from Tuggerah Lakes, that is a great bonus.

Phegans Bay is a beautiful peaceful area. Neighbours are friendly. It is an older demographic. High Tick area if you have pets. Possums & Bush Turkeys are everywhere. Public transport is limited.
