"Rankin Park"
Lots of trees, has a lovely park and creek set up with children's play equipment which is maintained by the local community. A small shopping centre is only a suburb away, as is Newcastle's major hospital, the John Hunter. Quiet and frequented by birdlife.

Is the mosquitos bad in this area? I know its bad near the uni but not sure about Rankin Park.
