Wide variety of shops available. Cafe, takeaway, supermarket, secondhand and homewares. plenty of buses and stops. A large soccer oval, playground and skatepark . A primary school (Hendon Primary) and high school (Seaton High) nearby.

We lived in Royal Park for 10 years and during this time the suburb has gone through a revendication with young families moving in and demolishing the old homes and creating a beautiful place to live. We now have an investment property there and the rents have increased around %20 in the past 2 years.

Its most dangerous zone and not safe for kids and family

Overpriced with little space and old house.
Too many robers drunk and drug dealer roaming on weekends and night.

This place become zombie zone at night, especially on weekends

I face many times robery in 3 year in Unit near hendon school.
I was knocked at night many times by strangers.
Also tried to break window and back door by knife during my 1 month holiday overseas.

In unit, my neighbours face stolen car number plate frequently, police not interested even after complaining many times by robery of this place

Breaking glass of my car and stolen car acessaries and tape from my car when I see on morning
Cycle was also stolen, many times thongs and shoes outside gone away in just one night.,
even inner wear of women , and clothes are robbed if you take it from morning by washing at night outside hanging.
people are not friendly with heavy music system and some of them heavy barking dogs around, and also shouting whole days sometimes

Hendon school is also worst school.
Child care are also not popular and I face many times discrimination with my kid.

There are plenty of heavy truck and frequent ambulance with siren 3 to 4 times whole day.
Too much noise of cars until 11 at night on the road. Traffic is getting increassed day by day on the road.
too much fumes of truck and car interuppts your health in tapleys hill road.
If you have family and kids avoid this place.

If u wana live peace and safe never live Royal park.

Hi i have lived here for 4 years and wouldnt look back some great little pockets ,across the road would be West Lakes zoned but without all the high council rates. No footy traffic anymore and up and coming area with new developments glad i brought before the boom home increases and still close to the lake for morning walks the beach and city what more could you ask without paying all the high council rates love it and yes you are gona get idiots in every area you live no matter what anyone thinks thats the world we live in unfortunatly and yes just a little statistic Lockleys was rated with one of the highest crime rate in 2018 for break ins and crime from what a Current affair stated go figger hey so it really doesnt matter what area yes it might look abit more prettier but still have ther downfalls so each to there own i guess im happy.

Royal Park is affordable and yet so close to amenities, shops, parks and beach.

Having lived adjacent to Royal Park for my whole life I've seen a lot of things in my time.

This is a excellent starting point for any new home owner or investor. Their is lots of development in the area and it is an upcoming suburb for sure. It is close to transport, schooling and shopping ! what a trio! The prices are affordable and you have available to you many parks where you can do many recreational activities at a walking distance! wow

My overall conclusion is if you like having a BBQ with some mates at the front yard and don't want to be looked down upon from the neighbors or scared for your life from your locals then this place would suit you. Very neutral suburb and is sure to get better as the years progress! Big blocks and would recommend very much!

it is awesome place to live

couldn't ask for much more living at royal park, moved in 3 weeks ago, great prices on housing with value for money, unlike spending the same in other areas and getting a small courtyard.

Purchased in Royal Park a couple years ago, and have seen my investment steadily grow, however with the looming tram coming to semaphore (2 min from Royal Park) and the Cheltenham estate going up in the next 5 years, this is a great place to live/invest.

It's probably lacking any decent restaurants, that would be my only squabble, however there are also plans for this to be improved soon also.
