"Neglected but not Unlovable"
Spence is located 11kms north west of the city. It has been neglected by all layers of government over a number of years. Its neighbourhood oval has fallen into disrepair since the drought of 2003. Many businesses have moved out of the area and the school has closed due to lack of enrolments. Housing developers have sought to add value to the area through boutique estates. The jury is out. You be the judge.
